Christmas to me is a time of fellowship, warm hugs, snow falling, and good conversations. I think many good ‘feelings’ and moments are attached to the mood of a room, and to me aroma is a huge part of that. This Christmas, my top favorite scents to make my candles with are Christmas Wreath, Vanilla, Gingerbread, Forest Pine and Coffee Cake.

"Christmas Wreath is a scent that when it permeates through my nose I feel like Christmas seeps into my pores and I am warm. It reminds me of walking into my house after being away for a while and admiring all the decorations and how beautiful Christmas makes a house look."

Vanilla

"Vanilla takes me back to vanilla creamer that is poured into the steaming coffee that is sipped on while my cousin’s and I open presents on Christmas morning."

"Gingerbread makes me reminisce on toasty cookies baking in the oven ready to be decorated and icing to be all over the kitchen table."

Forest Pine

Forest Pine reminds me of the pine needles that fall so effortlessly off of the freshly chopped down Christmas tree that stands in our living room.

Coffee Cake

Finally, Coffee Cake leads me to think about the best memory. My nana’s house on Christmas morning when my two cousins and sister sit down at the kitchen table and eat our coffee cake and talk about all the presents we got that morning. It has been a tradition in my family as long as I can remember, well as long as I have been interested in eating coffee cake!
