We know it can be a little intimidating walking into a Yoga class for the first time, what the heck does downward dog really mean, sun salutation, what?? It can be confusing and frankly, a little embarrassing, but we are here to tell you you are not alone! 

This one hour class is designed specifically for Yoga beginners or those who have never practiced Vinyasa before to help make your first experience much more comfortable and enjoyable. Our amazing friend and yoga teacher, Jess Malloy, will walk you through all the beginning steps and give you the basic skills you need to put you in the path of success for your own yoga practice going forward!

We will cover:

  1. Details of some common poses
  2. How to modifying your practice for your fitness level or injury
  3. What to bring/wear with you to class
  4. How to practice mindfully and safely

This is a great class to learn basic yoga poses and see if Vinyasa style of yoga resonates with you, plus we will be practicing outdoors in the beautiful setting of Blackacre Nature conservancy and sipping on some delicious ElixirKombucha to give us an amazing relaxing experience, so grab your mat (or your beach towel) and we hope to see you there!
